Deep Sky signs 10 year carbon credit deal with TD Bank for over 18000 direct air capture credits
ctvnews.caDeep Sky, a Montreal based carbon capture startup, has signed a 10 year agreement with TD Bank Group to sell over 18,000 verified direct air capture carbon dioxide removal credits. The deal, announced June 4 2026, follows Deep Sky's first facility launch in Alberta in August 2025 and recent partnerships with Engie and Lufthansa. Financial terms were not disclosed. The company is also planning a commercial carbon removal facility in southwestern Manitoba. This agreement shows growing corporate demand for engineered carbon removal credits, particularly from large financial institutions looking to offset hard to abate emissions. The long term structure provides revenue visibility for Deep Sky as it scales its direct air capture operations.
