Deep Sky signs 10-year carbon credit deal with TD Bank Group for direct air capture credits

The deal is one of the longer term offtake commitments from a major Canadian bank in the carbon removal space. Financial terms were not disclosed. Deep Sky began operating its first facility in Alberta in August 2025, where it tests multiple carbon removal technologies. The company has also announced plans to build a commercial scale carbon removal facility in southwestern Manitoba. The TD deal follows recent partnerships with French utility Engie and airline Lufthansa, signaling growing corporate demand for engineered carbon removal credits.
