Deep Sky delivers first certified DAC carbon removal credits in North America to Microsoft and RBC
gasworld.comDeep Sky and Isometric have certified the first direct air capture (DAC) carbon removal credits in North America. The credits come from a project in Alberta, Canada, and have been delivered to Microsoft and the Royal Bank of Canada under agreements running through 2034. Isometric's protocol requires full accounting of project emissions and long-term monitoring for permanent storage. The certification carries the Integrity Council's core carbon principles label, adding credibility. Deep Sky has also signed deals with Lufthansa, Engie, TD Bank, and Sumitomo Mitsui, linking Canadian DAC supply to buyers across North America, Europe, and Asia.
