The Dangote Group is expanding its energy footprint in Africa with a focus on LNG and CNG to improve energy security and industrial capacity. The plan includes a massive logistics network of 4,000 CNG trucks and a transition toward electric vehicles to lower emissions. A key goal of the initiative is to increase power generation to 20,000 MW, a significant jump from the current 4,500 MW supply. The strategy combines natural gas as a transition fuel with long term investments in solar and wind power to meet UN sustainable development goals.
