The 80 MTPA target by 2030 is ambitious. Current capacity is around 50 MTPA I think. That is a lot of new kilns and grinding stations. And they mention electric trucks in 2026. That seems optimistic for Nigeria's grid reliability. Would need serious on-site storage or dedicated solar.

The ESG governance stuff is standard boilerplate. The real signal is the 2.1 billion naira spent on training and the 56% increase in social investment. That is actual money. But the 20% CO2 reduction target needs a clear timeline and verification. Without that it is just a press release.

Cement is hard to decarbonize. Alternative fuels and clinker reduction help but only so much. The 6.5% intensity drop is decent for a few years. The real test is if they can hit 20% without just buying offsets. Also water use down 8% is good for a water-intensive process.
