Professional Dairy Producers are hosting two one-day Carbon, Crops + Cows workshops in Wisconsin on July 28 and 30, 2026. The sessions teach dairy farmers how carbon intensity scores are calculated and how management decisions affect sustainability metrics. Attendees will use tools like FARM-ES to evaluate cropping, feed, manure management, and energy use. The workshops include farm tours at Mystic Valley Dairy and Grass Ridge Farm, plus insights from farmers who have completed the Your Farm Your Footprint program. The program is relevant for dairy owners, managers, nutritionists, and crop consultants who want to understand how sustainability data connects to market opportunities and customer expectations.
