Cyan Ventures Green Fuels Accelerator backed by Qantas and Boeing selects first seven projects for low-carbon fuel production in Australia
capitalbrief.comCyan Ventures has launched a Green Fuels Accelerator to help early-stage low-carbon liquid fuel projects reach commercial scale in Australia. The accelerator is funded by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and supported by Qantas, Boeing, and other industry partners. The first seven projects selected include companies like Licella, Renergi, and Wagner Sustainable Fuels, which will receive regulatory, technical, and finance advisory support. The accelerator aims to address the gap between project potential and production by helping developers secure financing structures, offtake agreements, and regulatory guidance. Cyan Ventures managing partner Fraser Thompson said the targeted support is what is missing to get early-stage sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) projects across the line. Australia has abundant feedstocks and research capability, but needs help navigating the final steps to commercial scale.
