CTX Corporate One: Flat-Fee Carbon Trading Platform for Institutions, No Account Fee
carbonherald.comCTX has launched Corporate One, a flat-fee trading platform for institutional participants in the voluntary carbon market. The exchange charges $0.10 per credit per side, with no account-opening fee or minimum balance. The service targets project developers, brokers, banks, and trading desks that handle credits typically valued over $10 per tonne of CO2e. Corporate One offers round-the-clock electronic settlement under CTX's Continuous Trading Contract. Buyers can purchase credits for transfer or retirement without maintaining their own registry accounts. Members get access to millions of credits across projects and vintages, plus live FX rates through Westpac and invoicing at execution. CTX says this is the first time it has dropped percentage commissions and account fees in its 18-year history. The exchange has operated without a trade default and cleared over 1 billion tonnes of offsets. The invitation-only model could reshape how large buyers source carbon credits and increase liquidity in the voluntary market.
