CREW Carbon has secured $25 million in Series A funding to expand its wastewater treatment technology. The system uses mineral dosing, such as limestone, to convert CO2 into dissolved bicarbonate ions, providing a permanent carbon removal pathway while improving plant efficiency. The company has already attracted major carbon credit buyers including Google, Stripe, and JP Morgan through the Frontier fund. The new capital will be used to form more partnerships with wastewater utilities and scale their patented alkalinity treatment process.
