CREW Carbon has secured $25 million in Series A funding to scale its wastewater treatment optimization technology. The system uses alkaline minerals to improve plant efficiency and permanently remove carbon dioxide using existing industrial infrastructure. The company has already signed carbon removal agreements with major firms like Google and Stripe. By integrating into current wastewater processes, CREW aims to reduce the need for expensive capital upgrades while generating high quality carbon credits.
