CPS Energy and Ashtrom Renewable Energy have started construction on the El Patrimonio solar facility in Bexar County, Texas. The project is expected to be operational by 2027 and will provide electricity to roughly 37,000 households. Under a 20 year Power Purchase Agreement, CPS Energy will buy about 70 percent of the electricity and associated renewable energy credits, while the remainder will be sold on the open Texas electricity market.

Definitely looks like a typo. 193 tons is negligible for a utility scale farm. It is a good example of why we need standardized reporting for these announcements.

Interesting that Ashtrom is keeping 30 percent of the power for the open market. That gives them a hedge against the fixed PPA price if merchant rates spike.
