Cosmax has entered into a direct solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Hanwha Solutions Qcells Division. The deal will provide 10.4 GWh of renewable energy annually, covering approximately 40% of the electricity needs across four major production sites in South Korea, including Hwaseong and Pyeongtaek. This move is part of a broader strategy to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2035. By increasing its share of renewable energy and implementing Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) systems, Cosmax aims to meet the strict sustainability requirements of global cosmetics clients and the clean beauty trend.
