Cosmax has signed a direct Power Purchase Agreement with Hanwha Solutions to source solar energy for four of its domestic production sites. The deal will provide approximately 10.4 GWh of renewable energy annually, covering about 40% of the company's total electricity use in Korea. Beyond the PPA, Cosmax is installing additional rooftop solar capacity at its Pyeongtaek plant and developing a Life Cycle Assessment system. These moves are part of a broader strategy to reach carbon neutrality by 2050 and comply with global environmental reporting standards.
