Corporate Foundation Funds Nature-Based Climate Solutions in Minnesota and Czech Republic

A corporate foundation is funding nature-based climate solutions across two continents, from Minnesota peatlands to the Czech countryside. The Everpure Foundation is backing projects that restore wetlands, forests, and prairies to capture carbon at scale while supporting biodiversity and community resilience. These ecosystems can provide over a third of the climate mitigation needed, according to the World Economic Forum. The approach reflects a shift toward holistic risk assessment. Three of the top five global risks identified in the 2026 WEF report are climate related, including extreme weather and ecosystem collapse. Nature-based solutions are positioned as a practical, scalable way to address these risks by protecting the natural systems that underpin the global economy.
