Climate consultancy Coral Future has launched operations in Bangladesh, partnering with Eelaia and Kayventures to help local industries cut emissions and generate revenue through carbon finance. The firm will offer carbon footprinting, greenhouse gas inventories, Scope 3 emissions management, net-zero strategies, carbon credit project development, and renewable energy certificates. Bangladesh's NDC 3.0 targets a 20.31% emissions reduction below business-as-usual by 2035, with two-thirds conditional on international support. That makes carbon finance a central piece of the country's climate strategy. Export industries like textiles and garments face growing pressure from global buyers and lenders to measure and reduce emissions, which is why Coral Future is prioritizing textiles, renewable energy, bricks, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and waste management. The company also works with project owners on carbon credit assessment, development, national authorization, registration, verification, and connecting projects to buyers. Its entry into Bangladesh signals growing commercial interest in turning climate action into a revenue stream for local manufacturers and project developers.
