Carbon Brief has launched a real-time interactive tracker for the COP31 climate summit in Antalya, Turkey. The tool decodes the agenda and keeps a searchable record of every negotiating document, with color-coded status updates from red (no text) to green (agreement). It also counts square brackets and options in draft texts, which indicate areas of disagreement. The tracker covers more than 100 substantive agenda items, including the global goal on adaptation, the mitigation work programme, and a new just transition mechanism called the Belém-Antalya mechanism (BAM).
