Compact Syngas Solutions Launches Waste-to-Hydrogen Plant with Water-Based Carbon Capture

Compact Syngas Solutions has completed a government-backed trial of its MicroHub technology in Deeside. The plant converts non-recyclable waste into high-purity hydrogen and electricity using a gasification process. Unlike traditional chemical systems, the plant uses a water-based scrubbing method to capture over 90 percent of CO2 emissions. The system also produces biochar, contributing to a carbon lifecycle that can achieve net-negative emissions.
