Colt DCS cuts greenhouse gas emissions 27% since 2019, hits 100% renewable electricity in Scope 2

The data center operator also achieved 100% renewable electricity in Scope 2 through certificates and a 90% renewable share of total energy consumption. The numbers come from their fourth annual Sustainability Report covering 2025 performance. The company advanced its Global Reference Design, a standardized blueprint for new data centers that includes lower-carbon materials, energy-efficient systems, and near-zero wastewater cooling. Targets include an annualized PUE below 1.2 and waste diversion rates of 75% in construction and 90% in operations. Colt DCS is working toward a 2045 net zero goal and has SBTi targets in place. Key metrics from the report include a global PUE of 1.41, TRUE Zero Waste certification at three sites, and Great Place To Work certification with 92% employee recommendation. The company also secured ISO 27001 and ISO 14001 certifications across its global and regional operations.
