Colt Data Centre Services reported a 27% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions across Scopes 1, 2 (market-based), and 3 compared to its 2019 baseline. The company also achieved 100% renewable electricity in Scope 2 through renewable energy certificates, with renewables covering 90% of total energy consumption across all scopes. These results come from its fourth annual Sustainability Report, covering global operations including data centers in Mumbai and Chennai that support AI and digital demand. The company's Global Reference Design now includes lower-carbon materials, energy-efficient systems, and near-zero wastewater cooling. It targets lower annualized PUEs, 75% waste diversion during construction, and 90% diversion in operations. Water conservation measures include chilled water systems with low-GWP refrigerants, rainwater harvesting, and closed-loop liquid cooling that avoids evaporation. Colt DCS has set Science Based Targets aligned with SBTi's Net Zero Standard for 2045.
