The center clarified that the program began in 2018 as a CSR initiative, not a political one, and that after the 2021 military takeover it conducted risk assessments and only continued where community safety could be maintained. The center confirmed that no program revenues went to the military or affiliated entities. It also pushed back on over-crediting claims, noting that external re-analyses use different assumptions than the approved methodology. The center said its monitoring has not confirmed any safety incidents linked to participation, and it called for fact-based engagement rather than one-sided reporting.
