Clean Kinetics Breaks Ground on S$2.5M Solar Project at Sats Thailand Central Kitchen
businesstimes.com.sgClean Kinetics has broken ground on a S$2.5 million solar installation at Sats Thailand's central kitchen facility in Pathum Thani, north of Bangkok. The project includes about 5,000 panels on rooftops, carports, and ground area, adding 3.27 MWp of capacity. It is expected to generate around 3.46 GWh of clean electricity per year and is scheduled for completion by end-January 2027. The power will be supplied under a 25-year power purchase agreement to Sats Food Solutions Thailand, which produces ready-to-eat and frozen meals for aviation and food service customers. Clean Kinetics estimates the system will avoid about 2,300 tonnes of CO2 equivalent annually, or roughly 57,000 tonnes over the project's life. The company says that is similar to removing around 500 passenger vehicles from Thai roads each year.
