CKPower has successfully issued THB 5 billion in green debentures to fund the Luang Prabang Hydroelectric Power Project in Laos. The offering saw strong investor demand, with subscriptions exceeding the offering by more than two times. The bonds are rated A- and comply with the Green Bond Principles 2021 and Thailand Taxonomy 2023. The company plans to use these funds to advance the hydro project, which is currently 65 percent complete and expected to begin commercial operations in 2030. Additionally, CKPower is targeting expansion into solar energy through private power purchase agreements and government bids as part of its 2026 to 2030 strategic plan.
