City Oil Field Exports Recycled Naphtha Feedstock to Trafigura
koreatimes.co.krCity Oil Field has signed a deal with Trafigura to export recycled naphtha feedstock produced at the WAVE Jeongeup facility. The feedstock is created using a noncombustion low-temperature pyrolysis process that converts waste plastics and vinyl into high-quality oil for petrochemical use. This agreement marks the first overseas export of ISCC PLUS-certified recycled naphtha from a Korean-developed technology. The process aims to reduce carbon emissions and harmful dioxins compared to traditional waste treatment, providing an alternative to crude oil in naphtha cracking centers.
