CIIF 2026 New Materials Show Unveils Six Scenario-Driven Islands: Low-Altitude, New Energy, and AI Materials for Carbon Neutrality
thailand-business-news.comThe 26th China International Industry Fair (CIIF) New Material Industry Show (NMIS) runs October 12-16, 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Over 300 global exhibitors will present materials and processing equipment across six application-focused 'Material Islands' designed to streamline cross-sector procurement. The New Energy island highlights battery anodes, solid-state materials, PV encapsulation films, hydrogen PEM, and phase-change storage, all positioned as critical for global carbon neutrality. Other islands cover aerospace, AI/humanoid robots, intelligent equipment, biomanufacturing, and AI-empowered materials. Beyond the exhibits, NMIS 2026 includes an AI Materials Zone, a Pilot Base Zone with nearly 40 Shanghai materials pilot-scale builders, and regional pavilions from G60, Jinshan, Baoshan, and more. Over 10 forums will release insights aligned with China's 15th Five-Year advanced materials roadmap, with technical sessions on solid-state batteries, perovskites, and low-altitude materials. The show aims to bridge upstream material innovation with downstream applications, making it a practical sourcing point for companies targeting clean energy and advanced manufacturing supply chains.
