China is integrating advanced solar tracking and carbon capture technologies into its industrial hubs to drive a low-carbon transition. The strategy focuses on diversifying the energy mix with hydrogen, energy storage, and shore power to reduce port and manufacturing emissions. Under the 15th Five-Year Plan, the government aims to cut carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP by approximately 3.8 percent. This includes the creation of a national low-carbon transition fund and a comprehensive policy framework to scale renewable energy and green vehicle exports.
