China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre launched at Shenyang University for green tech and sustainable development
nation.com.pkA new China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre has been inaugurated at Shenyang University of Chemical Technology (SYUCT) in Liaoning Province, China. The centre aims to advance research in green technologies and sustainable development, building on SYUCT's success in the Dual Carbon Competition 2025. It brings together Pakistani institutions including PIEAS, NED University, and UET Peshawar for academic and scientific collaboration. The centre is designed to link academia, technology, and industry between the two countries, focusing on knowledge sharing, skills development, and joint research. Ambassador Khalil Hashmi highlighted its role in promoting innovation and sustainable development. This marks the first China-Pakistan joint research platform at a local Chinese university, coinciding with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
