China's NDRC and National Energy Administration have released trial guidelines for accounting non-fossil energy power consumption. This move aims to refine the carbon emission statistical system and support the national goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. The new guidelines will be applied to power consumption accounting starting in 2026.
