10GW is a massive amount of capacity for one area. I wonder what the curtailment rates look like here. If the transmission lines aren't upgraded to move that power to the coast, a lot of this wind will just be wasted.
True, but the integrated energy base model usually implies some level of storage or industrial load on site to mitigate that. The real question is whether the subsidies are tied to installed capacity or actual generation.
