ChargeLab, a Toronto based EV charger management company, has increased its ChargeLab Rewards program to pay Canadian single family homeowners 10 cents per kilowatt hour for home charging. That works out to roughly CA$350 per year for the average participant. The program is funded through Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations carbon credit framework, and ChargeLab says it reinvests the revenue into expanding EV charging infrastructure across the country. The updated program has no payout tiers, minimums, or waiting periods. Payments are made quarterly. It works with existing OCPP compatible home chargers from brands like Autel, Leviton, Siemens, and Wallbox. The ChargeLab app also gives access to several Canadian public charging networks without roaming fees. Versions for multifamily properties and businesses are available too.
