Changwon Special City in South Korea is offering double carbon neutrality points for users of its Nubija shared bicycle system and other green lifestyle activities through June 30. The program covers 17 categories including shared bike use, electronic receipts, reusable cups, and shopping bags. Points are doubled for each activity, though the annual cap of 70,000 won per person remains in place. The event is tied to World Environment Day and is run by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment. To qualify for the bike share bonus, users must register as members of the Green Living Practices carbon neutrality points program and purchase a Nubija membership. Non-members using day passes are excluded. The city says the goal is to encourage small daily habits that reduce emissions.
