Chando Group has released its 15th annual ESG report, shifting from general corporate social responsibility to quantifiable carbon reduction. The company is now using Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) standards to target a 42% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, while expanding its reporting to include Scope 3 supply chain emissions. Beyond reporting, the company is integrating green infrastructure into its operations. This includes a 3.1 megawatt rooftop solar project at its Shanghai facility and new biological fermentation technology to reduce energy consumption during raw material production.
