BRSR filings are a good start for transparency in India, but the real test is whether these GHG numbers lead to actual reduction targets. Reporting data is one thing, setting a binding glide path to net zero is another.
Agreed. I am curious about the solar rollout across 73 sites. Rooftop solar is great, but without knowing the total capacity in MW and how it fits into their energy mix, it is hard to tell if this is a meaningful shift or just a token gesture.
The energy consumption is huge at 3.5 million GJ. Solar rooftops will help, but they probably need to look at industrial heat efficiency or equipment retrofits to move the needle on those emissions.
