Cem’In’Eu is phasing out its traditional CEM I 52.5 R cement in favor of a low-carbon CEM II / A-LL 52.5 R alternative. By blending regional limestone to reduce the clinker ratio, the company has lowered the product's carbon footprint from 887kg to 725kg CO2eq/t, an 18 percent reduction. The new Robusticim range is produced at the Rhône Ciments facility in France. The transition is part of a broader corporate strategy to decarbonize building materials without requiring operational changes from the end users.
