New research from Pinsent Masons shows a strong surge in carbon capture and storage (CCS) investment. Over 90% of surveyed venture capital investors and developers have backed CCS solutions in the past year, with high adoption rates across the UK, Europe, the US, and Saudi Arabia. The industry is shifting from debating the utility of CCS to figuring out how to scale it. It is increasingly viewed as essential infrastructure for heavy industries where electrification is not a viable path to zero emissions.
