Castleforge and Galaxy Data Centers Expand Redhill Campus with Low Carbon Infrastructure
sustainableconstruction-now.comCastleforge and Galaxy Data Centers have received planning consent for a 15MW expansion at their Redhill campus near London. The project involves a 200 million pound investment to build four new data halls designed to meet the rising demand for AI and cloud computing capacity. The development focuses on sustainability through a BREEAM Very Good rating and a waste heat recovery system. This system allows the facility to reuse heat on site and potentially export it to a nearby residential heat network to lower community carbon emissions.
