Cardiff Bus is introducing 20 new Volvo vehicles to its fleet, serving routes between Cardiff, Penarth, Dinas Powys, Sully, and Barry. The investment aims to provide a more reliable alternative to private cars and improve passenger facilities across the region. This fleet expansion aligns with the Vale of Glamorgan Council's Project Zero initiative. The local authority is working toward becoming carbon neutral by 2030 and achieving county wide carbon neutrality by 2050 through expanded public transport and rural bus funding.
