Carbon Clean has commissioned a two tonnes per day pilot carbon capture facility at its Global Innovation Centre in Navi Mumbai, India. The site will test solvents, processes, and capture technologies before commercial deployment. The company says its modular CycloneCC C1 Series can capture between 75 and 295 tpd of CO2 per unit at commercial scale. Carbon Clean is targeting hard-to-abate sectors such as cement, steel, gas turbines, and heavy manufacturing, and is also looking at data centre demand tied to AI growth. The facility builds on the GIC that opened in July 2025, and the company reports that its technologies have captured more than three million tonnes of CO2 globally.
