Cape Town has received its first MyCiTi electric bus, a 12-metre Volvo BZRLE built with a locally designed body manufactured in Gauteng. The bus will undergo real-world testing on routes including the N2, Camps Bay, and Polkadraai Road to evaluate battery performance, charging times, and energy consumption under local conditions.
