A recent BMO Climate Institute survey shows that 78 percent of Canadian business leaders are now developing or have implemented climate plans. The data indicates a growing trend of integrating environmental risks into financial decision making, though high costs for zero carbon products remain a significant barrier. Over half of the surveyed organizations are now using artificial intelligence to assist with climate planning and daily operations. While confidence in these strategies is rising, many firms still struggle with the financial impact of carbon pricing and the cost of transitioning to low carbon services.
