BRIGHT and LanzaTech are collaborating to establish a next-generation C1 biofoundry at the Technical University of Denmark. The facility will focus on engineering microorganisms that convert industrial carbon emissions, such as carbon dioxide and methane, into sustainable chemicals and fuels. This partnership combines LanzaTech's gas fermentation expertise with BRIGHT's research infrastructure. By using AI-driven bioinformatics and automated gas-handling systems, the project aims to accelerate the development of microbial strains that can scale carbon capture into commercial bioproducts.
