BP is selling equity stakes in two major UK carbon capture and storage projects, Net Zero Teesside (NZT) Power and the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP). The move comes as both projects reach financial close and begin construction in Northern England. These projects aim to decarbonize industrial emissions and power generation. The NZT Power project intends to be the first gas power plant with carbon capture, while the NEP project focuses on the permanent underground storage of carbon dioxide.
