9 MWp is a decent size for a single site, but I wonder about the interconnection timeline in Tamil Nadu. Is this on-site or an off-site PPA?
Solar is the easy part. I would be more interested to see if they are also upgrading their internal plant efficiency or just offsetting the meter with green credits.
The real question is how this fits into the local open access regulations. If the wheeling charges are too high, these deals often struggle to stay cost-effective without subsidies.
