BNP Paribas has allocated 35.6 billion euros to renewable energy projects, with low carbon energies representing 82% of its total credit exposure to energy production. The bank aims to increase this to 90% by 2030, targeting over 40 billion euros in low carbon energy financing. Between 2022 and 2025, the group provided 252 billion euros in sustainable loans and bonds. This funding supports electric vehicle adoption, home energy efficiency retrofits, and large scale renewable infrastructure projects.
