BNK Financial Group held the 3rd ESG Talent Development Education for SMEs in southeastern South Korea at Busan City Hall. Over 100 participants from SMEs and related organizations attended. The event was co-organized with Busan Metropolitan City and the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute. The training responds to growing pressure from the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and expanding ESG requirements in global supply chains. Busan Bank set up a consultation desk for green finance products and ESG support systems. Regional financial institutions in South Korea are expanding products and consulting to help SMEs with low-carbon transitions and ESG compliance.
