Blue Energy Motors hits 100 million km with EV and LNG trucks, cuts 30,000 tonnes of carbon
smestreet.inBlue Energy Motors, an Indian manufacturer of EV and LNG heavy-duty trucks, has reached a cumulative fleet operation milestone of 100 million kilometres. The company operates over 1,400 trucks on key freight routes and reports reducing more than 30,000 tonnes of carbon emissions, equivalent to the carbon absorption of nearly 1.2 million trees. The company uses a mix of LNG trucks with a range of up to 2,400 kilometres per fill and electric trucks supported by corridor charging and battery swapping that takes under five minutes. Its Energy-as-a-Service model lowers upfront costs for fleet operators. The milestone reflects growing adoption of cleaner freight solutions in India driven by fuel cost volatility and corporate sustainability goals.
