BlackRock and IFC Launch Emerging Asia Infrastructure Credit Fund for Decarbonization

The fund targets a total size of $750 million, focusing primarily on Southeast Asian markets including the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam. By utilizing a blended finance structure, the fund aims to mobilize institutional capital from insurance providers to finance industrial decarbonization and green technologies. The IFC will provide up to $50 million in equity to improve the risk-return profile for other private investors.
