BizClik partners with Amazon for carbon credits to offset supply chain emissions
supplychaindigital.comBizClik Media, the company behind Supply Chain Digital and other B2B publications, has partnered with Amazon's carbon credit service on the Sustainability Exchange to offset residual emissions it cannot eliminate through operational changes. The deal gives BizClik access to credits vetted under Amazon's own standards, including nature-based projects like reforestation and jurisdictional REDD+, as well as technological removals like direct air capture and superpollutant abatement. The voluntary carbon market has faced criticism over transparency and quality. Amazon says its service filters for credits that meet its internal integrity thresholds, and handles sourcing, procurement, retirement, and reporting for participating companies. BizClik's CEO Glen White and Chief People and Sustainability Officer Stacy Green both framed the move as part of a broader 2026 sustainability strategy that includes reducing operational emissions while using credits for what they cannot yet cut. Critically, the article does not specify how many credits BizClik is buying, what project types it selected, or the cost. For a media company with no heavy industrial footprint, the materiality of these offsets is unclear. Still, the partnership shows how Amazon is expanding its carbon credit platform beyond its own balance sheet to other firms, which could signal a shift in how corporate buyers access the market.
