Australian packaging company BioPak has partnered with restoration platform veritree to fund nearly 60,000 verified trees over 18 months. The trees will be planted in British Columbia, Canada, and Tanzania, with veritree using real-time field data, photo evidence, and walking paths to verify each planting. BioPak says this allows them to track biodiversity, water systems, land recovery, and carbon sequestration estimates, moving beyond simple tree counting to measurable outcomes. BioPak already sources 95% of its products from renewable materials and has 74% of its paper and wood FSC certified. The company has launched an Impact Hub dashboard that gives customers and partners real-time visibility into the restoration work, including area restored, tree species, and carbon estimates. This builds on BioPak's Give Back Fund program that has supported tree planting for over 15 years.
