Carbon ratings agency BeZero has acquired Cedar, a platform that automates complex sustainability workflows. The deal brings Cedar's data tools into BeZero's existing portfolio of carbon ratings and the BeZero Carbon Markets platform. Subscribers will get access to Cedar's technology for turning messy data into structured insights, alongside BeZero's existing AI assistant, pre-rating scorecards, and geospatial tools. The goal is to help users evaluate carbon project risk more thoroughly before making investment decisions. BeZero confirmed it will continue rating projects at any stage and in any market, with Cedar's founding team joining to accelerate development of self-service due-diligence tools.
