Basingstoke Golf Club Uses Hempcrete and Carbon-Sequestering Materials for New Academy

The project aims to prove that high performance sports infrastructure can be built using low-carbon materials and nature-based solutions. In addition to the building materials, the academy uses advanced synthetic turf to reduce water use, fertilizer dependency, and mowing requirements. The project reports an initial sequestration of 2,705kg of CO2e, with expectations to reach 7,705kg as the living walls mature.
